About the city
Megeve, “The Art of Living at the top”, described as “the 21st arrondissement of Paris” by Jean Cocteau, is a French town located in the department of Haute-Savoie and the Rhone-Alpes region.
Megeve is located on a hill, which separates the watersheds of Arly to the south-west from the Arbon to the north-east. It is dominated by the heights of Christomet, Mont d’Arbois and Rochebrune. Today Megeve is a renowned international resort recognized as one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the world.
